Christine works with many dogs that have experienced emotional trauma, including abuse, neglect or is the genetic disposition. These dogs suffer from anxiety, stress and fear and are not a "training" issue. Acupressure and massage can be used to assist in the physical comfort, emotional stability and the over all well-being of your dog. Her goal is to build trust, respect and to give structure allowing for the best opportunity for a fulfilling life. Training options
1.Phone Consultations: For assistance in resolving issues of a simple nature. Not recommend for more problematic behaviors, dog aggression, fear biters, etc. 2. In-home training is a step by step progression, with instruction and personal guidance from your trainer, in your home. We lead by example and teach you the technique needed to train your dog. Home training programs are a great opportunity to focus on your dog handling skills and it gives your dog an opportunity to be trained in an environment in which they quickly learn. Dogs 4 Life home programs are tailored to your families training needs. Examples include but are not limited to: Foundation Building: We teach you how to set life long markers which is the foundation to all training. We begin with the basics such as: dogs name, come, sit, down, stay, and then incorporate specific issues door greeting or leash walking. Puppy Training: Crate training, house breaking, potty on command, chewing, nipping, biting and how to avoid unwanted behaviors, such as jumping. Distraction Training: Getting you dog to come indoors when called, fence chasing, walking on a leash without pulling. As well as new baby or second dog in family. 3. Kamp Kennelton Training: While you're away on business, vacation or at home, your dog is enjoying a happy, healthy, and fun learning environment. 4. Emotional Re-balancing: Christine has an in-depth background working with dogs that have experienced emotional trauma, such as: abuse, neglect and abandonment. These dogs suffer from anxiety, stress and fear and are not always considered "training issues". Christine is a Practitioner of Acupressure and Massage Wellness and is the only Professional Dog Trainer that uses these multi-modality to assist an animal recovery of the nature.
