Home programs are customized. We do not believe that all training is the same for every dog and each program is design based on individual family goals. We train on a whole dog approach, during the consultation we assess the families knowledge, skill level and evaluate the dog. Our program is then structured through reinforced behavior shaping, we specialize in relationship and bond building as we teach you techniques based on fairness and consistency. Each program is developed for that individual dog and family, around the dogs temperament, ability, health and
age. All program methods teach the family to work with the dog with out forcing, dragging or pulling as these techniques reduce the dogs reliability. UDX Mr. Boy Strider

Behavior Consultation: For guidance regarding specific issues. Puppy Camp: Program is centered on obedience and manner training as they spend their time at the trainer's home. We do not have a one size fits all dogs program as we tailor according to the dog's temperament and ability.
Foundation Building: We teach you how to set life long markers which is the foundation to all training. We begin with the basics such as: dogs name, come, sit, down, stay, and then incorporate specific issues door greeting or leash walking. Puppy program includes; crate training, house breaking, potty on command and we also discuss how to avoid unwanted behaviors.
Distraction Training: Proofing your dogs skill and reinforce working with distractions or working with a second dog. It is recommend at this level to begin group classes. see schedule.
Manner Training: Includes, jumping up, guest greeting, door dashing.
We begin with positive and rewarding methods, using both classical and operant conditioning. These techniques have been successfully used for decades. Programs begin with the foundation commands: dogs name, sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay, come, gaining attention and walking on a leash.
Length of program depends upon the individual personality, aptitude level, age, temperament and the family's desired results. Therefore stays are approximated at the onset of the program . Bordatella and Rabies are required. It is preferred that you supply your dog's food so bad tummies don't occur.
Dogs 4 Life's goal is to make home training easy and flexible and in order to remain considerate to all customers the company stands firm to a 48 cancellation policy: Cancellations within 48 hours will result in the loss of that session, failure to reschedule with in two weeks terminates program with no refund.
