Acupressure is a non-invasive gentle process that can greatly effect animals by balancing energy. Acupressure, stimulates points along the meridians without the use of needles. An acupressure session consists applied pressure to acupoints to regulate the flow of chi, blood and body fluids to strengthen it's resistance and to prevent pathological conditions. Stimulating acupoints, a practitioner can relieve and balance a variety of musculoskeletal, emotional or physiological conditions. In a sense it promotes the body's ability to help heal itself. The purpose is to restore balance and harmony by removing blockages, stagnations or excess condition.
Massage is used to stimulate skin receptors and to work with the soft tissue to releases chemicals necessary for the body's optimum health and performance. Massage can be used in preventative care, to reduces tension and stress, relieve and assist in pain management, aide in pre or post surgical procedures and used on behavior issues.
