Diatomaceous Earth: Kills Ants, Fleas, Ticks, Cockroaches, Earwigs, Slugs, Beetles, Flies, Silverfish, many other pests, naturally, without harsh synthetic chemicals!
Diatomaceous Earth is odorless and nontoxic and looks like white powder. It is composed of finely milled fossilized shells of minuscule organisms called diatoms (image at right). The microscopically fine, sharp edges desiccate the insects’ exoskeletons upon contact, and the pests dehydrate and die within hours. The insects also die when they eat the dust.
Diatomaceous earth can be used in and around the home, yard, and animal housing. Diatomaceous earth is very effective against fleas, ticks, lice, and other pests and can be used for Both dogs and cats used as a flea and tick powder by rubbing small amounts into their coats, sprinkled on bedding, spread in the yard, or added to carpets, garden pest too!
