Acupressure: Is a  gentle and non- invasive process, without the use of needles, which access Acupoints along the meridians. These are known as energetic pathways and applied finger pressure is used to regulate and bring into balance the flow of energy, known as Chi.  It is believed in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that when the body is in perfect balance, no illness can exist. A practitioner's purpose is to restore and maintain this balance by sedating Acupoints which removes blockage and stagnation of energy or by Tonifies to strengthen and support the resistance of pathogenic imbalances.  It is through the stimulation of Acupoints that can also benefit in a variety of musculoskeletal, emotional or physiological conditions.

Massage: is used to stimulate skin receptors and to work with the soft tissue to release chemicals necessary for optimum health and performance.

Wellness and Preventative Care. In today's world of western medicine we  focus on post illness care for our dogs. Massage and Acupressure can help promote your pets general health and over all well being as a preventative or support care given by your veterinarian. It has been proven that Massage and Acupressure can support and improve your pets immune function, enhances their mental clarity, removes toxins and waste from the body that may cause illness or disease. In addition, Massage and Acupressure can be used to reduce mental and physical stress that leads to behavioral issues such as hyperactivity, fear and aggression. It can also be used for conditions such as allergies, arthritis, circulatory problems, sports injuries, skeletal disorders and Fibromyalgia.

Quality of Life for Geriatric DogsAs we age our joints tighten and we loose range of motion. One of the main reasons we become less flexible, stiff, and ache as we get older has to do with the changes that take place in the connective tissues. Our body lose fluids and dehydrates, thus causing less fluids in the joint causing arthritic and bone deterioration. Massage is effective for increasing and maintaining the loss of flexibility and motion. It supports muscles, connective tissues, tendon, ligaments and joins as it reduces stiffness and pain to help to tone muscles, slows atrophy and muscular skeletal deterioration.

Pain Management. Both Massage and Acupressure can provide a natural and effective solution for the management for pain. Massage and Acupressure can minimize the need for pain killing drugs which can over time be harmful to our pets.  It  plays an important role by increasing circulation and relaxing the muscles, as it pumps oxygen and nutrients to tissues and the vital organs which allow these areas to become more flexible and heal more readily. We can assist with chronic inflammatory conditions such as arthritis.

Post-Op Rehabilitation and after injury. Surgical procedures are many times the only way to achieve lasting relief, although surgery itself is just one step in making long term results successful. It's important to consider that the component to the procedure is the post rehabilitation process. It is during this process the natural movement is re-learned and freedom of movement is reinforced.  Massage encourages and stimulates the healing, it enhances production of collagen synthesis for connective tissue repair, as it discourages the development of scar tissue and inflammation.
