Acupressure Points for Older Dogs
Christine Johnson Practioner of Acupressure

Quality of Life for Geriatric Dogs. As we age our joints tighten and we loose range of motion. One of the main reasons we become less flexible, stiff, and ache as we get older has to do with the changees that take place in the connective tissues. Our body lose fluids and dehydrates, thus causing less fluids in the joint causing arthritic and bone deterioration. Massage is effective for increasing and maintaining the loss of flexibility and motion. It supports muscles, connective tissues, tendon, ligaments and joins as it reduces stiffness and pain to help to tone muscles, slows atrophy and muscular skeletal deterioration.
